A note from the Founder:

I’m Nicholas Hickey,

One of the founders and CEO of Drone Safe Solutions,

I’ve worked 15+ years in the transmission, distribution world building experience, knowledge and expertise in my field.

Over that 14 years I’ve dedicated myself to being better and better everyday, any day I learn something new I deem a good day in the workforce.

I firmly believe in our product partnership, my drone ability’s and keen eye for detail in the inspection mindset.
Out of the 15 years I’ve spent 9+ years as a field tech, erecting towers, poles and stringing wire using various methods including helicopter work. Moving up the ladder in increasingly more responsible roles.

In the last 5-6 years I’ve worked as a QA/QC inspector, a lead inspector and manager for field inspection services.

This collision of worlds from construction production & quality control, has lead me to start Drone Safe Solutions, a premier inspection service heavily focused on heavy industry, mainly powerline and grid related areas.

This start up lead me to partner with a smart grid manufacturing company to import high end grid monitoring products. These types of products were unheard of to me even with extensive experience across all faucets of the utilities industry.

Here we are today growing and expanding!

Myself and my team look forward to working with utility operators big and small as well as private companies who would like to incorporate our products and services into their network!
